Welcome to the PRiME Competition
To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 we have flipped our in-person competition event to take place online. Same great projects, judging and level of competition, just in a different format.
Our PRiME competition provides students with an opportunity to compete at a professional level by demonstrating how organizations balance economic and sustainability goals, as well as how to develop innovative solutions.
Our PRiME Competition is designed following the global PRME, Principles for Responsible Management Education, a platform that School of Management joined in 2015. PRME aligns academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact, a voluntary initiative based on CEO commitments to implement universal sustainability principles.
The community was invited to vote in the People's Choice Award online between April 22-28th. During this week we had more than 850 people cast more than 2,500 votes from around the globe. Votes came in from all continents except Antarctica and from as far away as Austria and Australia. We were humbled and excited with the response and so proud to share our student's projects with the world.
The PRiME Competition Awards Presentation was held LIVE online via ZOOM on April 29th. Competition award winners were:
Grand Prize: Coca-Cola vs. CO2 Emissions
1st Place: Gun Control
2nd Place: A Policy Analysis of California’s Drought Policies: Are They Adequately Aiding the Agricultural Industry?
People’s Choice: Gun Control
